On the Go

It has been a while since I have updated our blog...we have a ton going on so thought it was time to take a minute and share.

Eden is crazy!  She does not sit still.  She started crawling over a week ago and goes, goes, goes.  She pulls herself up on furniture or anything else for that matter.  She is fascinated with anything that makes noise and loves attention from anyone she meets.  We have been having a hard time getting her to eat solid foods, she is extremely stubborn...like her mom.  We finally got her to take sweet potatoes about a week ago (after trying rice cereal, oatmeal, and avocados).  She does ok with it but not great.  Please say a prayer she starts to eat more, she is so tiny (15% in weight) that we need to make sure she is getting enough.  She is still sleeping poorly which is getting wearing on both Brian and me but we manage to make it through.  Overall we are so incredibly blessed to have her and so thankful for her.  We can't imagine our lives without her.  What an amazing gift God has given us.

The house is under contract.  It only took 6 days!  We had over 20 showings in one week so thankful it is under contract because keeping it that clean was exhausting.  The inspection was last week and the inspector found some potential structural issues on the south wall in the foundation so things are a bit up in the air right now.  A structural engineer is coming tomorrow to take a look.  We are praying hard for a positive report or at least something we can work through with the buyer.  We found a rental the day before we found out about the structural issues and thankfully right now the landlord is working with us.  It is a mid century modern home in Arvada.  It is a bit out of date but will be a great space for us for a few years.

Kim's dad got great results on the first round of his cancer treatment.  The MRI showed no new tumors and 25% shrinkage on the existing tumors.  GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD.  He starts a second round of treatment this week.

All in all life continues to be a journey with amazing blessings!
