We are borrowing our neighbor's johnny jumper thing (thanks Fin!) and Eden loves it. She loves standing so this is a great way for her to stand without one of us having to hold her. Around the outside there are a bunch of things hanging/sticking up for her to play with. One of particular interest to Eden is the Sun. It is her nemesis. We will always put her in on the other side of the sun but give her sometime and she will turn around and make her way to it...and then watch out! Within a few minutes she will be bawling out of frustration because she can't get the sun in her mouth. Happens every time....too funny!

Eden's First Big Girl Food!
Eden was a rock star sleeper her first few months of life but the last 2 months have been rough. In an effort to try something that might help her sleep more we decided to start her on solid foods last night! Not sure it really made a difference...she probably ate 2 Tbsp but still woke up at 1am just to say hi and get some soothing and then 4am to eat and 6am to play. Oh well...even though our days of good sleep are long gone she is worth it!
After researching we decided to opt out of the traditional white rice cereal because once processed it is primarily sugar and that is not what I wanted Eden's first food to be. So we made our own, organic long grain brown rice pureed into a powder, mixed with water and breast milk. I tried a little and it wasn't awful....hmmmm...i might be lying a little! Overall she really did pretty good with it. Towards the end she got fussy and I think it was entertaining Brian so he took more pics of that part.

Gone are the days.....
I have been traveling for 3 days and feel like I have come home to a new little girl! Gone are the days of leaving her unattended on the floor. She is rolling all over...front to back, back to front, scooting in circles. Brian left her yesterday for a few minutes on the living room floor and came back and she was half way across the rug! Then there is her new trick of sitting up. Check out the video below. She was sitting up just a little on Sunday and then she just caught on really quick after that! You would think all this movement would come with a new found joy for longer sleep so she has more energy....not...her sleeping is getting worse. We need lots of prayer that she will figure it out soon. All in all we still love her and she is getting so much personality. Bets are on if she will be confident and stubborn like her mom or laid back and flexible like her dad!

I am not sure about this whole slide thing.... |
There is a fascinating kid next to her.... |

Eden's Baptism
We had the opportunity to get Eden Baptised this weekend! What a beautiful thing to mark God's claim on Eden's life. We love her so much, amazing to think that God loves her more!
Eden,
Mommy and Daddy are so blessed to have you. We thank God for you everyday. We commit to raising you as a child of God. We pray that you would grow up to be a passionate lover of the LORD. We pray you would always know that Jesus loves you. You are His child.
Love always!

A day of firsts!
What a day in the Crosby household! A day of firsts. I was in Kansas City yesterday afternoon to today. For the FIRST time Eden polished off over 5oz in her bottle!!! She was quiet a guzzler! Then 2 times during the day today while Brian was rinsing her diaper he left and she was on her back and when he came back she was on her tummy! Her FIRST time rolling from back to tummy! When I got home from Kansas City she did it again for both of us to see!!! Baby Eden rolling over from back to front. She has done it 3 more times, even for the camera, check out the video below. Then for the first time in a while it was in the low 70's in Denver. My flight landed from Kansas City at 2:45pm so when I got home we had enough time to go for our FIRST family bike/run! Brian pulled Eden in the Burley while I went running. Oh almost forgot...she found her right ear for the FIRST time! We love Eden so much and are so blessed!
