We don't have any video to post yet but Eden took her first steps today! Eight and a half months old...she will be walking in no time!

Bear Lake State Park
Saturday morning we went to Bear Lake State Park. Mommy is training for a triathlon so she got in a great swim and run while Eden and Daddy played in the lake. Overall Eden loves the water!

We bought Eden a little pool because the heat has been crazy in Denver, record temps this year and we don't have AC in the house. Apparently Dad thought the suite was optional.

Frisco
We had a condo in Frisco for the weekend. We headed up on Friday and came back on Sunday. We had a great weekend. On Saturday Mommy and Eden went for a bike ride on the path from Frisco to Cooper Mountain, almost made it all the way to Cooper. Daddy went mountain biking. After biking we headed out for a 2 mile hike. Eden made it about a mile and then had her typical hiking meltdown and needed to be carried...grrrr. On Sunday we headed out for another hike and actually made it 5 miles at North Ten Mile Creek right outside Frisco. Eden was occupied with sucking on a stick and then sleeping in the backpack...whatever works right? Traffic was awful on the way back to Denver Sunday night but it was all worth it. Had a great weekend!

Camping round 2
Well....this time was worse than last time. We meet our friends Jeff and Laura (3 kiddos, Caleb, Brooklyn and Kinley) and Paul and Jenn (2 kiddos, Bo and Mac) up at Buffalo Creek. Within 15 minutes of everyone arriving Caleb sliced his head open on the corner of the pop up camper. Brian, Jeff and Caleb headed to the nearest hospital which was all the way in Lakewood...yes, over an hour from camp. Thankfully Caleb was ok after a few stitches. They made it back at camp around 12:30am. Eden was already having a rough night slept for an hour in the Go Crib and then was up for a while finally fell asleep next to me on the air mattress and then woke up when Brian got back. After crying until 2am we packed up what we could (left the tent) and headed back to Denver. Made it home at 3am and managed to get a few hours of sleep before Eden woke up the next morning. We hung out in Denver on Saturday and then Sunday headed back up to at least spend the day with our friends and get our tent. It was father's day so Daddy went for a mountain bike ride with the other Dad's and Eden and Mommy hung out with the other kiddos at Wellington Lake. Maybe round 3 will go better.........say a prayer!
